Course Contents
IELTS preparation
(upper intermediate 3 and above)		 The main aims of the course are to familiarise students with all aspects of the exam and to offer practice and feedback on performance in the required tasks in all four skill areas. Students receive learner training to help them derive maximum benefit from the course and from subsequent self-study.
IELTS introduction
(intermediate 3 - upper intermediate 2)		 This course will tell you how the IELTS test actually works and give you advice on how to prepare for questions. It will also suggest exam strategies for you to get the best out of the test. The course also revises and practises major language points so that your vocabulary and language continue to improve while you prepare for the exam.
Academic Writing This course is for students who wish to improve their writing skills within a variety of formal contexts related to academic life and work
General Writing The aim of the course is to help you develop your written communication skills. The course focuses on the importance of genre and audience in determining style and appropriacy in texts.
Word Power If you want to express yourself really well, you need to build a bigger vocabulary. This course will help you to increase your word power and your communicative power.
Preparation for Overseas Studies The aims of the course are to help you prepare for the cultural impact of studying in a foreign country and to provide practice in the specific skills you will need for your studies.
